Recently I have gotten tons of requests for more “workwear” inspiration, and I totally get it! Dressing for an office or corporate job Monday through Friday while still dressing stylish is tough! Not to mention, it can get crazy expensive because you usually aren’t going to be wanting to wear your black slacks on Saturday. So today I wanted to create a stylish office-appropriate outfit with pieces you could easily incorporate into your weekend wardrobe. This is the key to maximizing your work wardrobe!
This olive wrap skirt caught my eye because of the fun Fall color and unique twist on you basic pencil skirt. You can see from the photo below that it just is the illusion of a wrap, and actually has a zip at the side preventing any wardrobe malfunctions that would not be good at the office…haha! The length is perfect for work, while not being too awkwardly long to wear on the weekend either. I wore it this past Saturday to my mother-in-law’s birthday party with a white cami and cardigan (here’s a picture!).
Whenever I have worked in an office setting, I am always cold so I typically liked wearing long sleeves. This bell-sleeve long sleeve tee is a super cute on-trend basic that will go with so much you already have in your closet.
Incorporating pieces that can be worn from work to weekend, and mixed and matched with items you already have is key to creating a non-boring and versatile wardrobe!
