When we moved from California to Texas, especially after such a chaotic move, the last thing I wanted to do was unpack all the boxes and figure out where everything went. For our anniversary, Daniel hired the Neat Method to come unpack and organize everything and they were amazing! I wanted to share some Neat Method tips with you guys!
Their most helpful tip to organize any space in your home was to unpack everything from the boxes and lay it out and categorize it all so you can see what you have and the volume of your things. After you have it out and organized/categorized, then you can put your things into bins or baskets.
Ziplock Bag Drawer
The boxes that Ziploc baggies come in are so bulky and take up so much unnecessary space, take the out of the boxes and leave them rolled for easy access. They used our favorite drawer dividers to divide the different sizes and then labeled them by sizes. SO EASY.
Junk Drawer
We all have them, and they make us angry! Neat method put an expandable drawer organizer in it and you are able to organize so much easier in it and then everything is divided out and looks so much nicer!
Closet Organization
You start by organizing all of your clothes by color and sleeve length. Next by categories: sweaters, long sleeves, short sleeves, tanks, jeans, etc. The hard part is just keeping up with it after 😉
Make Up Drawers
The best Neat Method tip I can give is to buy drawer organizers off amazon (you can get a huge pack for around $20). Neat method puts all the organizers in the drawers first and see what fits your specific drawer and then they put all the makeup in them. GENIUS.
