Must Haves for Baby Number 2

When I had Rhett I tried SO many different things with him.  I got some awesome recommendations from you guys, friends and family so today I’m rounding up all of my must haves for baby number 2.  These are the things I have pulled out of storage or bought again for baby girl and am genuinely excited to use again with her!

Pajama Must Haves

My favorite jammies for Rhett were these Kickee Pants pajamas. The zipper was a game-changer for those middle of the night diaper changes and the material is SO soft.  They were also some of the only jammies that fit him as a newborn because he was so long and skinny.  I love how many colors they come in, and if you like prints there are tons of print options, too!

Sleep Must Haves

We still use Maam pacifiers with Rhett now and will definitely be using them for baby girl.  We never had any issues with nipple confusion when he was tiny. Another thing we are still using today with him is his Newton crib mattress and we just ordered a second one for baby girl.  The mattress and mattress cover are both super breathable.

A few more of our sleep favorites are the Nanit monitor, we have it at my house and my mom’s house.  The Woolino sleep sack is definitely pricey but worth every penny and a definite must have for baby number 2.  We used the Owlet sock with Rhett when he was a newborn and it gave me so much peace of mind as a first-time mom.  Even though I’m feeling a lot more confident this time around, we are 100% still going to use the Owlet again with baby number 2!

Breast Feeding and Mom Must Haves

I wore Rhett around a lot when he was tiny and the Solly Baby Wrap was the most comfortable by far.  We also loved the Baby Bjorn bouncer WAY more than any of the other baby bouncers we tried.  It was pricey for what it is but it soothed Rhett like nothing else did and gave me a break from wearing him all the time.

When I was breast feeding, the Haakaa breast pump was awesome for catching all the letdown from the opposite side, otherwise it would have just leaked out all over the place 😂 And finally, my favorite blankets EVER are from Saranoni, and the Saranoni baby blankets are super soft and cozy.  They’re perfect if your little one is born during the colder months!
