Handbags and shoes are two of the things I gravitate toward during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because of the incredible deals they have on high quality items!  Every year Nordstrom releases several exclusive Tory Burch bags that are heavily marked down.  This year in particular I couldn’t decide on which one’s to bring home, so I reviewed three of them here!  And for your shopping fun, HERE is a link to all the bags included on the sale!

Below are my thoughts on the bags I brought home with me to help you make a decision on which bag is right for you.  Make sure to snag one now if you are in need of one because in a couple of weeks they will go up in price!

Tory Burch Marsden Leather Wallet Crossbody Bag

Simple cross-body bags are my absolute favorite style of bag to wear on a daily basis.  Having something super lightweight that you can throw on and go is a must-have in my book!  When I saw this bag, I knew it would be perfect for everything from daily errands to travel.  The inside of the bag has slots for credit cards and money along the backside, so you don’t have to carry a wallet inside.

This bag comes in three colors, but the black and nut versions are my favorite!  The gold chain accent dresses it up a bit so that you could wear it causally or more dressy as well.  It would make the perfect travel bag, or crossbody bag to wear while toting around a diaper bag.

Rebecca Minkoff Medium Keith Suede & Leather Satchel

When Daniel saw this bag for the first time, he asked me if I bought a Chloé bag…that’s how stunning this bag is in person!  The combination of suede and leather make it look super high end, and the front magnetic snag closure makes it so convenient to use.  The inside has a zip pocket on the wall for storage of smaller items.

It has a convertible shoulder strap as well as a top handle, so that you can carry it one of three different ways!  You can wear it on your shoulder with the strap doubled up like I have it here, or with the strap pulled through and extended as a crossbody!  One of my readers messaged me about the way to convert it to a crossbody and it made me love it so much more!!!. Tory Burch Marsden Leather Zip Around Wallet

Zip-around wallets are hands-down my favorite style because not only can you store everything in them, but nothing ever falls out and is always contained.  I bought this exact wallet in black leather about five years ago and have used it so much that I decided the blush pink was necessary this year!  The leather can easily be wiped down, so I am not concerned about it getting stained.

It has eight card slots inside, along with a zip center divider pocket for change.  There are compartments on each side to store receipts as well as pockets to store cash in as well.  It fits in almost all my bags and I even just carry it on it’s own at times when I am running into the store.

Tory Burch Marsden Swingpack Leather Crossbody Bag

This bag can be worn two ways: both straps as a one shoulder bag or pulling through the chain strap to wear as a crossbody.  There is a hidden magnetic-snap closure at the top and a zip pocket inside.

The reason I liked this bag was because of it’s size.  Most crossbodies are pretty small and compact, but this one is much larger.  The leather is flat and lightweight which keeps it from being heavy (it is so light!).  You can easily fit a large wallet, sunglasses, a small makeup bag and more in here!

 

Tory Burch Marsden Pebbled Leather Tote

This is the ultimate work bag!  It has three main compartments, one middle zipper section with two good-sized open sections on either side.  In one side compartment is a zip pocket and on the other is a wall pocket.  I tested it with my 13” Macbook Pro, and it fits in all three compartments, including the middle zipper!  Daniel’s 15″ MacBook Pro fits as well in either of the two larger side compartments.

The straps are chain with a leather piece where it rests on your shoulder, and the length is not awkward at all.  The only downside to this bag in my opinion is that it does not have a structured bottom.  I usually prefer that, but it does make this one more comfortable to wear.

Herschel Supply Co. Strand Flight Satin Duffel Bag

I have been on the hunt for a new workout bag for a while, and when I saw this Herschel duffel bag in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale catalog, I knew it would be one of my first purchases!  The blush color is what drew me to it immediately.  And the fact that the whole bag is nylon makes it extremely easy to clean.

It would make the perfect travel or overnight bag as well!  And at just over $50, honestly you can’t beat the price.  I am thinking of grabbing a couple different colors for Christmas gifts!

Tory Burch Small Marsden Leather Tote

This bag may be my favorite bag I grabbed from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!  I think the shape and size make it so cute and functional.  It has the same internal layout as it’s larger version (that I mentioned above) with three internal compartments, two on either side of a zipper pocket in the center.

The crossbody strap makes this bag so functional.  It is extremely lightweight and compact, but still fits a lot of things.  Its can fit a full size zip-around wallet like the Tory Burch Marsden one I mentioned above, as well as sunglasses, an iPhone and a few other things as well.

Madewell Lafayette Leather Bucket Bag

Colors: English Saddle, Black

Bucket bags are definitely not something that I typically gravitate to, so when I saw this Madewell bucket bag and loved it, I surprised myself!  I didn’t actually purchase it on the first day because I wasn’t sure, but after thinking about it for a few days, I finally decided to pull the trigger, and I am so glad that I did.

It has a top handle so you can wear it over your arm, as well as an adjustable long strap so that you can wear it crossbody or on one shoulder.  The drawstring closure on the top adds so much character to the bag and is definitely my favorite part.  It is really lightweight and the English Saddle color I got is super unique and gorgeous in person!  Madewell leather is always top quality!
