A while back, I took a poll on my Instagram Story and asked what store you guys would want to see a try-on haul from. Aside from Target (which you can see HERE), I got an overwhelming response to do an Old Navy Try-On Haul! I’m not one that typically shops at Old Navy, so I was a little unsure what I would find, but I found so much cute stuff you guys! Let’s get started!
To start things off, I found the best plaid shirt! Plaid tops are some of my favorite things to wear during the Fall season, and can really be hit or miss. Often they’re way too thick and sometimes they fit awkward. This one is so thin and soft! It seriously feels like a Rails top (which is over $100) and comes in a bunch of different colors. I got a size small and can only really wear it unbuttoned right now, but once I have the baby I definitely will front tuck it!
I’m wearing this thin layering tank underneath that is so soft and stretchy. I purposely got an “xs tall” so that I could wear it with leggings and my bump! Below you can see what it looks like in the “xs regular” which would be better with jeans.
This striped tunic sweater is the perfect thin Fall layering piece. I love the neutral combo of the gray, beige, and white and it will go with so many things! The fabric is thin enough that you can layer it underneath jackets when it gets cooler. I bought it a size up from my normal size (wearing a size small) so that it would fit over my bump, and so that it would possibly be long enough to wear with leggings. By itself it barely covered enough for me to feel comfortable enough wearing it with just leggings, so I layering the long tank underneath that I wore above.
I also got tons of recommendations after my Maternity Jeans review post to try out Old Navy’s Maternity jeans. In all of these outfits, I am wearing this pair, and they really do fit great! They are a great deal, so if you’re in the market for a pair definitely order an Old Navy pair! I love this solid denim pair and this destructed pair as well!
A camel cardigan is easily one of my favorite pieces to have in my closet and style this time of year. When I saw this classic one for such a great price on their site, I knew I needed to try it out and review it for you guys. The material is so nice, and it’s a great alternative to the Madewell version that I have and wear often if you don’t want to spend that much. It comes in a bunch of classic colors that you can layer over anything! It will look great over dresses and like I’m wearing it here!
Speaking of great classic pieces, this cozy crewneck sweater is such a closet staple and is so, so soft!!! I could not resist this rust color the second that I saw it, and think it looks so cute with black jeans and blue jeans. Personally, I’m not the biggest fan of tight sweaters so I ordered this in a size large to give it more of a tunic fit. Without my bump, I would probably order a medium for the same fit! I want this in every single color 😍.
This plaid cardigan is thicker than the camel one I featured above, and so it’s definitely warmer! I thought the plaid print was super cute and different, and loved the charcoal and black combo. It would look super cute with a pair of black booties and jeans for a comfy, cute Fall outfit! It definitely runs true to size, but if you’re between sizes, I would go with the smaller. You should still have room to layer a long-sleeve underneath!
Tunic length sweaters have been some of my favorite things to wear with my bump! This one is non-maternity, and I loved the thin stripes and the waffle knit of it. The sides have small slits and the neckline is between a scoop neck and a v-neck. You could easily layer this under a utility jacket because of how thin it is and it would make such a cute, casual outfit. Definitely thinking of grabbing this in the “Icelandic Mineral” color as well!
This is the same tank as the white one I have been wearing, but in the cutest oatmeal color. It has some gold thread running through it which makes it so cute in person (definitely not too much)! In the plain white version that I am wearing above, I have on the “XS Tall,” but this is the “XS regular” for reference and so you can see the difference. Definitely not long enough in the back to wear the regular version with leggings, but it’s better if you want to wear it with jeans in my opinion. It would be so cute tucked in slightly in the front.
I paired it with this boyfriend cardigan in the prettiest “clove” color and I am obsessed with the buttons!! This cardigan isn’t too long, and could easily be worn to work or on the weekends. You will get so much use out of this piece and can layer scarves over it when the weather cools down even more!
Lastly is this striped “coatigan” that is definitely too heavy to be considered a cardigan in my book, but not quite the weight of a coat. It’s perfect for those in-between months where a cardigan just isn’t going to cut it, but a coat would be too much 😉. I love the way it drapes in the front and the pockets are so cute and oversized! Definitely a versatile pieces you will wear all Fall & Winter!
Would love to hear your thoughts on this Old Navy try-on! Let me know if you end up ordering any of these pieces, and be sure to check them out “in person” on my Story today!
