An oversized plaid is my go-to.  Literally, if when I don’t know what to wear (which is everyday, lets be real) I end up reaching for one.  They look cute and can be dressed up or down.  This amazing split back one was a TJ Maxx find!!  But, I found the same one in a different color here, and one that looks completely identical here.  I totally wear mine with converse during the day, but how cute is it paired with pumps and a clutch for going out?  So easy and so cute!

Speaking of pumps, do yourself a HUGE favor and pick up these basic, but so not basic, black suede pumps from Banana.  They are so comfortable!  The heel is high enough that it’s not a “kitten” heel, but definitely easy to wear and appropriate for every setting (even work!).  And I know a lot of people who hate toe cleavage (why do I feel so disgusting for saying that?), and the way these cut straight across your foot completely hides all that business.  PLUS, think about how much wear you can get out of them throughout this holiday season…they go with e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g.
