A couple of weeks ago I shared how much I have been loving adding color into my wardrobe this Spring in this post. Besides yellow being one of my current color crushes, I have also been loving poppy! And yes, you may call it red, but it is just a hint more orange, and I feel like it’s way more fun to call “poppy”…lol. When I saw this Madewell red eyelet dress while I was shopping the other day I was totally drooling. But I have to admit that I hesitated on buying it for a bit because the poppy color is pretty far outside of my “neutrals” comfort zone. But I am so glad that I went for it!
Some of you may recognize this dress from my Instagram Story on Easter because it was what I wore. Honestly, this dress would make the perfect outfit for pretty much any Spring or Summer event. It is such high quality and fully lined, but still super lightweight for when the temperatures get warmer. And I love the sleeves! Sometimes you just don’t want to wear something sleeveless, but that can often be tough to find with dresses. This one is the perfect solution!
