When was the last time you wore a skort?! I’m going to be willing to bet it was right around the last time I did before I got this one: second grade. Seriously though, skorts are one item of clothing that I thought were reserved for grade school girls, but nope! And I can’t say that I’m mad about it one bit. I saw this embroidered skort and honestly ordered it under the impression that it was a skirt. I guess I never even considered that it could be a skort! When I got it in the mail, you can imagine my surprise! I decided to try it anyways, and I am so glad I did! The freedom of wearing a skort over a skirt is underrated, and I am now a huge fan!
I ordered this embroidered skort as part of a pretty good size order last month from Goodnight Macaroon. I’ve gotten tons of questions recently about my experience with the online boutique, so today I wanted to shed some insight in case you have been hesitant about ordering from them.
Almost everything I’ve gotten from Goodnight Macaroon has fit and been accurate size wise. Not only that, but it resembles the photos posted almost exactly. It is not one of those cheap online sites where they use a different photo than the item they ship. What you see pictured is what you get (or at least this has always been my experience, and I have probably received about 20 items). If you have any hesitation about sizing, make sure you use the size chart and measurements given with each item! This is such a huge help and will eliminate sending a lot of things back!
Recently I’ve gotten this white lace top that I featured in this blog post, this destructed white sweater, this black embroidered dress, and tis striped bell-sleeve tee. All of which I love and ran true the sizing chart provided! I have heard readers say that shipping took quite a long time in the past. I personally have never waited longer than a couple weeks, but just wanted to give the heads up!

Such a pretty skirt ! I love that the pattern wraps all the way around. It’s a pet peeve of mine when patterns are only on the front of a piece of clothing. I think I’ll be adding this skirt to my cart!
