If there’s anything that can make a Monday a little bit brighter, it’s Spring Break wear!  I know some of you may have already had your Spring break, and most of you (me included!) probably don’t even get a Spring break anymore, but who doesn’t like buying new swimwear and fun Summer inspired things?  Or at least browsing 😉

There are so many cute suits and coverups out this season, and if I could give any advice at all, it would be to by your swimwear NOW.  I can’t tell you how many years I have waited until it’s warm to buy my swim suits (because who really is in the mood when it’s only 65 degrees out?), but everything cute is already sold out by then, and it’s literally a frenzy to find something decent.  Right now, there are so many cute options available in almost every size, so you will have no issues getting exactly what you want, and come May, you will be thanking yourself!

One pieces are everywhere again this year, and I love it!  I love having the option to wear a bikini when I want to, but on those days when I’m not feeling one hundred percent (read: I had too many slices of pizza the night before…haha!) and just want more coverage, there’s nothing better than a cute one piece!  My favorites are this strapless hot pink one, this “old school” white one, and this black cut-out one.  And there are never a shortage of cute bikinis, but this year my favorites are this scalloped one-shoulder, this colorful cap sleeve, and this ruffle off-the-shoulder.

Shop Swimwear

Some of my favorite items to take besides the obvious swimsuits and coverups on warm vacations are a Wildfox sweatshirt like this one and a pair of One Teaspoon shorts.  If you have never owned a Wildfox sweatshirt, they are literally the softest and most cozy little cheeky sweaters that are so easy to throw on and go.  I throw them over my bathing suit, wear them as pajamas, or with shorts when we head out for the day.  I have so many and get a new one for each trip!  Right now my favorites are this “Take it Easy” one, this “Siesta Fiesta” one, and my all-time favorite is this Diet Coke one.

A cute pair of colorful earrings and fun sandals make any suit or simple outfit instantly cute.  And I always bring a beach bag, as well as a cross body bag on tropical vacations.  No one wants to carry a tote while headed to dinner by the beach, so a cross body will do the trick no matter where you head to, and a beach bag will help carry all your essentials to the pool for the day!
