I think it’s pretty much a unanimous opinion that Free People makes the absolute best SPring/Summer dresses.  Every year I stock up on a couple new ones because 5/7 days a week over the next few months, it’s what I am going to reach for (HERE is a post I did last month on another new one).  They are the simplest “throw-on-and-go” pieces in my closet, and they definitely get the most compliments.  I can literally spend 20 minutes planning an outfit one day and no one will say anything, and the next day just throw on one of these dresses because I’m in a hurry and will get tons of compliments on it.  Hey, just go with what’s workin’, right?!

Last Summer, I bought this Free People ‘Perfectly Victorian’ Minidress in the red version, but when I saw it this season in white, I knew I had to get it.  I wore it to my sister-in-law’s baby shower a couple of weeks back and got compliments the entire day.  It’s something about the cute sleeves and embroidery that attract so much attention.

I paired it with my favorite wedges that I also have had since last year, but this season I found an almost identical dupe for under $60 HERE!  That is totally a steal, considering how much you can wear them with.  They match perfect with a cognac bag like this one, but I am loving this cross body for Summer that’s under $60, and would be super cute too!
