Daniel and I celebrated our only niece’s first birthday on Saturday before I headed out to dinner with my college roommates that night. Let me tell you, since leaving college I totally appreciate any girl time I can get and soaked up every second. Living with Daniel as my roommate is obviously my favorite, but living with those three girls was the highlight of my college career. There are days I wish I could relive it all over again!
We have a short workweek this week because we are leaving to New York on Thursday night! For our first anniversary we took a trip there since Daniel had never been, and we loved it so much. We have been waiting to go back since, and are so excited it’s finally here!
We will be there for five days, but don’t have much planned yet (that’s one of my jobs this week!), so if you have any suggestions, please send them my way! What are your favorite restaurants? Any non-touristy things we need to experience?
We’ve already done most of the tourist spots during our first visit, but this time I think we are planning to see a show since we didn’t get to last time. Have you seen any that you can recommend?
I bought this dress to wear to our anniversary dinner about two weeks ago, but am excited to bring it with me to NYC. The weather is supposed to be pretty warm, so it will be super cute to wear out to dinner or even to the show. I ordered this leather jacket in the champagne color that came in the mail Friday, and I think it will look super cute over it.
