I’m about 50/50 on whether I like dressing up on the weekends.  Usually if I feel like “dressing up” on the weekends, it’s because I got something new during the week and have “saved it” for Saturday.  [Does anyone else do this?!  As I was typing it out I realized how completely ridiculous it sounded!]  But the other weekends when we don’t have much plans, I’m all about throwing on a tee, jeans, and sneakers.  I wore this last weekend after church, and figured I would show you guys what a “normal” dressed down look is like in my book.  Totally and completely effortless, even down to the dry-shampoo-ed messy bun 😉  This Madewell tee is my favorite and comes in so many colors!  The fabric feels much higher quality than say, Target, but the price is not much more!

I love having these earrings to put on when I want something extra, but a statement earring would be too much for the outfit.  They are simple, but when I wear my hair up I like to have on something more substantial than a stud.  [If you’re in the market for an everyday stud, these are my absolute favorites, and not too expensive at all!]

This weekend you can probably find me in some version of this outfit because we don’t have many plans!  My sister-in-law is coming to stay with us, so I foresee plenty of shopping and eating 😉  What’s your favorite go-to casual combo look for the weekend?
