[ann]Pink Flats | Camel Sandals[/ann]

Our season of life right now is filled to the brim between work, friends, and events (all great things!), but flexibility during each day is definitely key!   Running straight from work to a dinner with friends or family is all too common, so I today thought I’d share some of my tips to transitioning easy from day to night without having to bring your whole wardrobe with you!

Both the day and night looks I’m wearing in today’s post contain the same outfit made up of entirely basic layers—this is key when wanting to dress something up or down.  Start with the basics and then add a scarf or some jewelry to dress it up or down.

 Over the past few years, Sam Edelman has become my favorite brand for quality shoes at an affordable price point.  They hold up so well and are pretty classic and timeless styles you can wear for years to come.  I’ve even had a pair of their leather flats repaired, because I wore them so much that they needed new soles!
