Happy Halloween, friends! Can you even believe that November starts tomorrow?! I can’t even get over how fast this year has gone by and that we are already into the holiday season, but I am SO excited for it! Not only is it my favorite time of the year, but I have a feeling it will go super quickly which means baby boy will be here in no time! So crazy! But, if I am being completely honest here, Halloween has never been one of my favorite holidays, so I’m not one to “dress up.” Daniel and I usually have a low-key night at home and get take-out while we pass out candy to our neighbor kids. We’re in a new neighborhood this year, and I’m hoping it has more cute kiddos than our last because it was kind of slow at our last place!
Since I don’t really have a costume to share with you, I figured the least I could do was at least give you some Fall outfit inspiration with a pumpkin backdrop 😉. Since this is my first pregnancy, it’s my first time learning how to dress a bump, and not being able to wear the same things I’m used to has been a serious wake-up call! However, I am so excited for cooler weather because my go-to items (oversized sweaters and cute boots and booties) still work with a pregnant belly!
I snagged this oversized, off-the-shoulder sweater because I loved the simple ivory knit and how many different ways you can wear it. Here I have it off one shoulder, but it can easily be worn off both or neither! And I can’t wait until I get back into my regular jeans and do a front tuck with it. It’s also long enough for leggings (if you’re petite like me!) and I will definitely pair it with my favorite faux leather leggings (non-maternity).
As far as jeans go, I have been loving these AG maternity jeans since the end of my second trimester. They are the exactly same cut that I wore pre-pregnancy and even the same wash! Here is the non-maternity identical version. Both run true to size (get your pre-pregnancy size in the maternity jeans).
Hope you have a fun Halloween!! Do you have any fun plans for tonight or this weekend?!
