If I’m being completely honest, I get so excited to make plans with people, but then when the time comes to actually go to that said event, I would rather just stay home….every single time.  Once I’m there, I end up having a great time and being so happy I went, but chances are I had a mental battle with myself to get there.  It’s so bad that my husband reminds me every time that I will have fun once I’m there before it’s even close to the time to go…like he’s prepping me for the inner debate before it even starts 😉  Anyways, all this to say that when I saw this shirt, it was like my life on a piece of clothing and I had to have it (whether my mom thought it was socially acceptable to wear in public or not).
I love graphic tees, but always want to avoid looking like a middle school boy in them (come on, you know those tees they wear with the funny sayings on them?!).  Enter Mad Jewels.  They so wonderfully gifted me this incredible Celine Necklace that takes this graphic tee from cheesy middle-school boy to everyday glam.  And, the hot pink color it comes in is to die for,  and they will donate 20% to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation this month whenever someone purchases it!  This big chunky necklace totally dresses up the look of a graphic tee, making it easy to wear to a nice dinner date (like I did this night!) or just to run errands while looking cute!
I linked so many graphic tees below (lots of which are on sale for less than $20!) like this one & this one.  I’m not the biggest fan of spending money on them because chances are you won’t want to wear them for very long.  Another tip: to make your graphic tee a little more dressed up, go or an oversized look!  This one that I am wearing is my normal size, and is made to fit oversized, but size up a size or two if it isn’t made oversized to give you the same look!
