It’s hard to believe that Mother’s Day is less than two weeks away! I always look forward to Mother’s Day because it’s the holiday that means the most to my mom. My mom and I are gym buddies, Chick-fil-A besties, shopping buddies, nail + hair salon partners, and just all around best friends. We live five minutes apart and do pretty much everything together; it’s rare that a day goes by that I don’t see her!
Hands down, my mom is the easiest person for me to shop for, and so finding a mother’s day gift is usually just about narrowing down what I think she would like best. This year I picked up a few cute small things really early on (I think like back in February!) that I wish I could show you, but my mom is going to read this 😉.
Today I wanted to share a bunch of ideas to help in case your mom maybe isn’t super easy to shop for. (Hey, we all have that person! Come Father’s Day I’ll be making a gift guide to help myself!) Most of these items are are reasonably priced, but there are a few splurge items mixed in just in case you really want to spoil her this year!
Some of my favorite items that I have to highlight:
slip Pillowcase – Okay, I know this is so random and funny, and you were probably thinking, “What in the world is #1?” But, I just got this after my hairdresser recommended it, and it makes a huge difference! If you arena of those girls who wakes up with perfectly wavy, non-frizzy hair that looks just like it did when you left The Dry Bar, then maybe this is a waste of money. However, if you aren’t that girl (raises hand), then you will love it! It doesn’t magically make you gorgeous when you wake up, but hey, at least you won’t have frizzy hair. My mom and I both swear by them now!
Longchamp Bag – If your momma has never experienced a Longchamp bag, be her favorite child and get her one! They are the best carry-all’s and work for everything traveling to running around town. This is the color my mom has and loves because it goes with everything.
Jewelry Tray – The fact that this little tray says, “You make mom jeans look good,” made me want to add it to this list in and of itself, but having one of these catch-all’s for your nightstand is so nice. If she takes her jewelry off before going to sleep, this will be super convenient for her.
Tory Burch Miller Flip Flops – Definitely more on the “Splurge” side of things, but if she (or you!) hasn’t had a pair of these, she needs them. I own both a nude and black pair, but my mom owns this cognac pair. She will wear them daily when Summer comes around, and they truly are worth the extra money!
Peplum Top – My current favorite top on the market under $50! Can you believe this is only $42? Me either. It comes in a variety of colors, so there is definitely something she will love, and can be worn from work to weekend.
Be sure to shop a bunch more ideas below! Which of these would your mom like best?
