Happy Halloween! Since I’m not that into Halloween at all, I thought I would get as festive as I possibly could and post photos with some pumpkins 😉 Nothing against it at all, it’s just not my favorite holiday. The best part about it is that it means we are officially starting the “holiday season”! Bring on Christmas…haha!
This past weekend, my college roommates and I had a girl’s weekend getaway to Paso Robles. Every time we catch up it’s like no time has past at all, except we were laughing all weekend about how much our conversations have changed since college. It used to be all about classes, friends, our hair, and guys and we caught ourselves discussing mortgages, credit cards, politics, and taxes multiple different times this weekend, #adulting. When did we grow up?!
We had the best time talking, eating, and going to the most gorgeous wineries and laughed until we cried over Snapchat filters. Sidenote: We spent a good amount of time arguing over one of the filters was a goat or a sheep. Does anyone know what the super high-pitched voice goat/sheep is? We were definitely a split vote! [I vote sheep!]
While we were there, the weather was in the sixties and we totally took advantage by only packing sweaters and booties. I’m obsessed with this basic black mock neck sweater from Express (and actually all Express sweaters), and I can’t get over how cute this plaid poncho looks over it! The poncho itself is a pretty light layer, so it isn’t bulky in the slightest (think like the thickness of a scarf). Perfect for California fall and winter!

I know what you mean by Halloween not my favorite holiday either…but I love this outfit.
