I’m sure it’s come across pretty clear, but I am a neutrals girl through and through. If you took one step in my closet you’d see that it’s 90% black, white, gray, and beige. And while I wouldn’t consider my style to be “trendy” per se, I absolutely love throwing in a little edge to a classic neutral piece.
This BB Dakota little black dress did just that. And when I saw two of my favorite current season trends wrapped up in one dress, I knew it was the perfect fit! The lace-up detailing and the subtle bell sleeve make it totally current and not your typical black sheath dress. But at the same time, it’s comfortable enough to feel like you are wearing pajamas while running errands on the weekend. And under $100? Yes please!
I paired it with my absolute favorite shoe in my closet, these Chanel espadrilles, that I invested in this season after wearing out my old pair for more than two years. If you want a great quality pair that are more reasonable, check these out! I had them for two years before biting the bullet on these Chanel’s, and still think they are so cute!
This is totally the type of outfit you will find me in all Summer long. The fabric on this dress is super breathable, but it is fully lined to keep it from being see-through. Summer uniform: Check!
